Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Book Closure

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts.
- Review and oversee journal entries, provisions, accruals, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
- Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure General Ledger integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.

Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Manage direct tax compliance, including Income Tax, TDS, Advance Tax, tax assessments, and tax audits.
- Oversee indirect tax compliance, including GST filings, reconciliations, audits, assessments, and notices.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Identify tax optimization opportunities while ensuring complete regulatory compliance.

Audit Management

- Lead and coordinate Statutory, Internal, IFC (Internal Financial Controls), and other regulatory audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and key management stakeholders.
- Strengthen governance, risk management,



and compliance frameworks.

Internal Controls & Process Excellence

- Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs across finance and business processes.
- Establish robust financial controls and risk management practices.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.
- Define KRAs, monitor performance, and build team capabilities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Financial Reporting & Business Support

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan processes.
- Provide financial insights to business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and liquidity management.

Due Diligence, Valuation & Strategic Projects

- Lead financial due diligence activities related to acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions.
- Support business valuation exercises and fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with external advisors, bankers, investors, and consultants.
- Support M&A; transactions, restructuring initiatives, and financial modelling requirements.

Compliance & Regulatory Management

- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Accounting Standards, Tax Laws, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.
