The ideal candidate should be capable of managing the accounts of the Digitral Group, including both the parent company and its subsidiaries.
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with accounting, book closure, oversight of the AR and AP cycles, GST, TDS, Income Tax and consolidation of group financials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a group/multi-entity environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS / Indian GAAP, GST, TDS and Income Tax provisions.
- Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and handling statutory and tax audits.
- Proficient in accounting software and tools (e.g. Tally, advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Book Closure:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure monthly and annual book closures for the parent company and all subsidiaries are completed timely and accurately.
- Manage subsidiary book closures, including review of trial balances, closing entries and intercompany balances, in coordination with subsidiary teams and local accountants.
Receivables & Collections Oversight:
- Review customer invoicing to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
- Oversee the collections process and drive escalation of overdue payments.
- Review weekly receivables and collections reports, including aging analysis, and follow up on long-outstanding balances.
Payables & Vendor Payments Oversight:
- Review vendor invoice bookings and ensure proper reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Oversee vendor payment schedules, ensuring payments are released within agreed timelines.
- Review outstanding vendor payments and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable.
Reporting:
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Lead and coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits, providing required financial data, schedules and explanations to auditors.
GST, e-Invoicing, Income Tax & Consolidation:
- Ensure compliance with e-Invoicing requirements and timely generation of e-Invoices.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) and perform GST reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books).
- Handle TDS computations, payments and quarterly TDS returns; support income tax filings, advance tax workings and assessments.
- Handle direct and indirect tax filings and compliance for the subsidiaries (corporate/income tax, VAT/GST and other local filings) in coordination with local tax consultants in each jurisdiction.
Additional Finance Support:
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to management.
