Role Description The Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports related to the company’s visa services operations.

Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, tracking receivables and payables, supporting budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also involves coordinating with management on financial analysis, assisting with tax and audit requirements, and implementing internal controls to maintain accurate and secure financial records. The Accountant will collaborate with operational and customer service teams to ensure that financial data aligns with business activities and client accounts.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.




- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, reports, and basic financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to service-based businesses.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support management with financial insights.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain systematic documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting or finance roles; experience in consultancy, immigration, or service-oriented companies is beneficial.
