Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage the financial operations of our event management company. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage budgets for events, and maintain compliance with statutory and tax regulations.

Experience in the event, hospitality, or service industry is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing event budgets and monitor event-wise profitability.
- Track event-related expenses and ensure budgets are adhered to.
- Process vendor payments and manage supplier reconciliations.
- Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS,



and other statutory returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes, utilities, and statutory obligations.
- Support management with financial analysis and business reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Skilled certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an event management, hospitality, or service-based organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
