Role Description This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in Gujarat, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash flow to support business operations. The role involves preparing tax-related documentation, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.



The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial insights, assist in budgeting and cost analysis, and help improve financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Understanding of tax regulations, audit processes, and compliance requirements relevant to Indian businesses.
- Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple financial tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or related industries in Gujarat or similar markets is beneficial.
