Company Description Incentiv is building technology infrastructure for India’s private markets, operating at the intersection of founders, employees, shareholders, and investors to help them issue, manage, transact, and realize value from private equity. The company’s flagship Secondaries Platform, Incentiv Transact, enables ESOP holders and shareholders to sell their stakes while providing vetted investment opportunities to private market investors such as HNIs, family offices, and funds. Incentiv also offers SaaS products like Incentiv Equity for cap table, ESOP, and stakeholder management, and Incentiv Folio for portfolio tracking, LP reporting, and fund operations.

In addition, the company provides services including ESOP design, valuations for compliance and corporate actions, and dematerialization, giving clients end-to-end support across the private equity lifecycle.

Role Description The Accountant role at Incentiv is a full time, on-site position based in Indore. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial records across the company’s operations. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting tax and regulatory compliance.

The Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams to track revenue and expenses, support audits,



and maintain documentation for valuations and reporting. The role also includes improving accounting processes, implementing controls, and providing timely financial insights to support decision-making in a fast-growing private markets environment.

Qualifications

Strong accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of GAAP/Ind AS, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.

Proficiency in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

Experience with accounting software and ERP tools; comfort working with spreadsheets and financial models.

Understanding of taxation, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting requirements relevant to Indian businesses.

Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and prepare explicit reports for internal stakeholders.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent in progress/completed) are an advantage.

Prior experience in fintech, financial services, or private markets is a plus.
