Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, monitoring expenses, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors,



and assisting with audits and tax documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular collaboration with the operations and management teams to support accurate and timely financial decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Ability to prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and perform account reconciliations.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and basic audit support procedures.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a corporate or agency environment is an advantage.
