Role Description The Accountant role at Abuzz Advertising and Services is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with external auditors or consultants as needed,



and preparing periodic financial reports for management. The Accountant will collaborate with project and operations teams to track campaign and event costs, monitor cash flow, and provide financial insights that support business decisions.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.

Proficiency with accounting and ERP software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools) and solid skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of local tax laws, GST, and regulatory compliance relevant to advertising, events, or services-based businesses.

Experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial analysis to support project-based work and management reporting.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Prior experience in an advertising, events, or service agency environment is preferred but not mandatory.
