Position: Executive Accounts

Department: Finance & Accounts

Job Summary The Executive – Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Tally ERP, and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP accurately and on time.
2. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, cash books, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts.
3. Calculate, verify, and assist in filing GST returns while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
4. Maintain records related to TDS and other statutory compliances.
5. Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, debit notes, credit notes, and journal entries.
6. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures and support internal and external audits.
7.



Maintain proper accounting documentation and ensure accurate filing of financial records.
8. Generate MIS reports and financial data using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other analytical functions.
9. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and assist in follow-up activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Positive understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- M.Com or relevant accounting certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Experience in GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and accounting software is preferred.

Preferred Software Knowledge

- Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Microsoft Excel
- MS Word
- ERP software (preferred)
