At Ericsson, we are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the vital role of Access Services Operator. The role is designed to make content accessible for audiences with varying sensory abilities, such as those who are Deaf or hard of hearing, and blind or partially sighted. Our goal is to ensure that all access services files and streams communicate messages accurately and in line with the necessary editorial and regulatory policies.
What you will do:
- Operate various workflow tools and systems, aimed at the preparation and delivery of access services, which may involve tasks related to Subtitling, Audio description, Sign language studio, or Scheduling / Capacity control.
- Manage all aspects of access services production, fostering communication between customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Assume responsibility for creating access services files or streams,
identifying any compliance issues, and escalating delivery problems to relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Use production systems to produce services, identify technical issues, and share best practices with colleagues.
- Handle administrative tasks and archival work according to established procedures, ensuring prompt delivery of completed access services materials.
- Input future TV schedules of clients into workflow tools, maintain accuracy in scheduling systems, and handle schedule changes promptly.
- Engage in training plans through demos, observation, and buddying to meet target requirements.
