Role Description The Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida and Gurgaon. This role involves providing one-on-one and group counseling to learners on academic pathways, program selection, and skill development plans.

The Academic

Counselor will guide learners in setting educational and career goals, track their progress, and coordinate with faculty and program managers to support learner success. Daily tasks include conducting counseling sessions, responding to learner queries, maintaining accurate records, and organizing informational sessions or workshops.



The role also requires collaborating with admissions and career services teams to ensure a smooth learner experience from enrollment through completion.

Qualifications

- Robust student counseling and academic advising skills, with the ability to support diverse learner needs.
- Career counseling and education-related expertise to help learners align programs with professional goals.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear, empathetic guidance.
- Ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive learner concerns professionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Previous experience in academic advising, counseling, or student support services is preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in using digital tools and CRM or student management systems.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with academic, operations, and career services teams.
