Role & responsibilities

- Install, commission, service and maintain Air Handling Units and air-conditioning systems.
- Carry out installation and servicing of indoor and outdoor condensing units.
- Perform copper piping, flaring, brazing, insulation and leak testing.
- Conduct nitrogen pressure testing, vacuuming and refrigerant charging.
- Check and rectify cooling problems, gas leakage, icing, drainage blockage and insufficient airflow.
- Inspect and replace dryer filters, contactors, capacitors, relays, sensors and other components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration-related faults.
- Check compressors, fan motors, cooling coils, filters and control panels.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of AHUs and AC systems.
- Carry out servicing and cleaning of indoor units, outdoor units, cooling coils and filters.
- Read electrical wiring diagrams and understand basic control-panel connections.
- Coordinate with site supervisors,



engineers and customers during installation and service work.
- Prepare site service reports and record the work completed.
- Follow company safety procedures while handling refrigerants, electrical equipment and pressurised systems.
- Travel to project sites across India whenever required.

Preferred candidate profile ALMED Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced AC and AHU Technician for the installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of Air Handling Units, air-conditioning systems and related HVAC equipment.

The candidate must have practical knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, copper piping, gas charging and preventive maintenance. The position requires travelling to project sites across India.
