Position: Automation Tester
Location: Remote / Bangalore
Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Budget: 20-25 LPA
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Joiners Max

Key Requirements:

Core Technical Skills:

Programming: Proficient in Java

Automation Testing: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium.

API Testing:

Experience with REST API testing.

Proficiency with REST Assured (API Automation Testing), Postman, and Swagger.

Testing Types: Integration testing and System testing.

Process Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of the release process.

Familiarity with the Scrum/Agile process to estimate work efforts and manage sprints effectively.

In-depth knowledge of the bug lifecycle, including severity and priority management.

Soft Skills and Work Ethic:

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Strong prioritization skills and ability to act as a gatekeeper from the QA perspective.

Capability to work as an individual contributor across multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills.

Learning and Adaptability:

Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.





Ability to build automation solutions for business processes.

Valuable-to-Have Skills:

Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Experience with Cucumber.

Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and GitHub.

Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute automated tests for web applications and APIs.

Actively participate in scrum ceremonies to estimate and plan testing efforts.

Monitor and manage the bug lifecycle by setting severity and priority levels.

Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

Implement integration and system testing across projects.

Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies to enhance QA processes.

Build and maintain testing frameworks and tools to ensure efficient automation.

Document test cases, results, and any required reports for stakeholders.
