Job Description – TGT Science Teacher

Qualification:

- B.Sc. in Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology)

- B.Ed. mandatory

- CTET qualified (preferred for CBSE schools)

Experience:

- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (you can specify 2 years if needed)

Responsibilities:

- Teach Science to Classes 6–10 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects and assessments

- Conduct practical activities and demonstrations to make concepts easier

- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

- Maintain classroom discipline and create an interactive learning environment

- Guide students in assignments, science fairs, and academic competitions

- Ensure safety and discipline during lab-related activities

- Participate in staff meetings, PTMs and school events

- Stay updated with curriculum changes and up-to-date teaching techniques

Skills Required:

- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry & Biology basics

- Good communication and classroom management skills

- Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly

- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms (preferred)
