The School Counsellor plays a key role in supporting students’ emotional, social, behavioural and academic development. This position involves individual and group counselling, collaboration with teachers & parents and proactive initiatives that promote student well-being and mental health across the school community. Student Counselling & Support Provide individual and group counselling for students dealing with emotional, social, behavioural or academic concerns. Participate in student support meetings and multidisciplinary discussions when required.



Contribute to school policies related to student welfare, safeguarding and child protection. Support crisis intervention and follow school protocols in sensitive situations. Maintain accurate, confidential student records and counselling notes. Refer students to external professionals or specialists when needed, in coordination with school leadership. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field. ~ Relevant certification or training in child/adolescent counselling preferred. ~1–3 years of experience in a school or child-focused counselling role (freshers may be considered). ~ Passionate about student well-being and holistic education.
