Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager - Sales Support is responsible for providing end-to-end commercial support to the sales team by preparing competitive quotations, coordinating with operations and product teams, managing customer RFQs, maintaining pricing data, and ensuring timely responses to customer requirements. The role plays a key part in improving win rates, customer satisfaction, and commercial efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Support

- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Customs Brokerage, Transportation, and Value-Added Services.

- Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs within agreed turnaround times.

- Coordinate, airlines, overseas agents, and internal stakeholders to obtain competitive rates.

- Ensure pricing aligns with company profitability and commercial guidelines.

- Support key account management by providing Quoting assistance.

Pricing & Rate Management

- Maintain carrier tariffs, buying rates, and customer pricing.

- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing.

- Support pricing reviews to maximize profitability.





- Maintain pricing databases.

Customer & Sales Coordination

- Work with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams.

- Assist with customer presentations and proposals.

- Coordinate contract renewals and pricing revisions.

- Support implementation of current customer accounts.

RFQ Management

- Manage end-to-end RFQs

- Prepare commercial submissions on time.

- Track RFQ outcomes.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare sales support reports and dashboards.

- Monitor quotation TAT and conversion ratios.

- Maintain quotation records.

Process Improvement & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with pricing policies.

- Improve quotation processes.

- Support digital tools and automation.

- Maintain confidentiality.

- Onboarding & Credit filing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field. MBA/PG Diploma preferred.

Experience

- 3- 5 years in Freight Forwarding/Logistics.

- 2-3 years in Sales Support/Pricing/Commercial.

- Experience in Air & Ocean Freight pricing preferred.
