Role: Lead Teaching and Learning (ECCE), MumbaiExperience: 10-15 years | Salary: 20-30 LPA___________________________________________________ About the role:The Foundation 's Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programaims to improve the quality of ECCE for 3-6-year-old children,especially in Anganwadi centers. ECCE is one of the recent strategicinitiatives of the Foundation, and as part of the newly establishedECCE team, all team members will play a key role in establishing,strengthening, and expanding the program across multiple states.The Lead Teaching and Learning will be responsible for productdesign and working closely with state teams and other programleads. Responsibilities Curriculum and Content Development: Leadthe design, development, and contextualization of the ECCEcurriculum and content for children aged 3-6 years Ensure thecurriculum aligns with best practices in early childhood educationwhile adapting it to local contexts and cultural settings. Reviewand refine teaching materials, resources, and activities to ensuretheir relevance and effectiveness. Teacher Training Development:Lead the creation and development of online/blended/in-personcomprehensive teacher training programs aimed at enhancing earlychildhood education delivery. Develop and deliver high-qualitytraining programs for teachers, focusing on early childhooddevelopment, teaching methodologies, and classroom management.Design and implement a robust online/blended teacher certificationcourse to ensure the professional growth and qualification of earlychildhood educators. Program Monitoring and Strategic PartnershipSupport Support monitoring and evaluation teams or partners tobuild tools for monitoring, support, and evaluations. Work closelywith programs and strategy teams to build and nurture partnershipswith key stakeholders, including education institutions, NGOs,government agencies and other relevant partners.
Collaboration withCommunications and Research Teams Work closely with programs andstrategy teams to build and nurture partnerships with keystakeholders, including education institutions, NGOs, governmentagencies and other relevant partners. Capacity Building for FieldTeams Collaborate with the communications team to generate contentideas for program outreach and dissemination. Support the researchteam in identifying key research areas, formulating researchquestions, and contributing to the development of research SuccessMatrix: Development of an online course for WCD/ICDS system on ECEDevelopment and delivery of a Supervisor capacity building programDevelopment and delivery of teacher training programs for AWWSupport to teams to build knowledge on ECE Development and/orcontextualization of ECE curriculum for state EducationQualifications Must have : A postgraduate degree or equivalent ineducation, early childhood education, curriculum development, or arelated field. Competencies Proficiency in English; knowledge ofHindi may be an advantage Excellent documentation, analysis, andpresentation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointis required. Working knowledge of project management frameworks andtools, Gantt charts, etc. Demonstrates high levels of empathy,understanding challenges of stakeholders, listening actively, andworking in a participatory manner. Demonstrates creativity inher/his work, responding flexibly to a changing field situationProficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi may be an advantageExcellent documentation, analysis, and presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
