Are you an experienced Payments Product professional with strong expertise in payment operations, product management, transformation, and modern payment ecosystems? We are looking for a Payments Product Owner to drive the vision, design, and delivery of key products and transformation initiatives across the Payments domain.

Responsibilities:

- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Payments transformation initiatives, including ISO 20022 enablement, RTP/FedNow modernization, cross-border payments, and real-time payments.
- Translate strategic, business, client, and regulatory requirements into product epics, features, and user stories, with clear and measurable outcomes.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, client needs, operational priorities, and regulatory or compliance timelines, using frameworks such as MoSCoW and WSJF.
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, Core Banking, QA, and business teams to deliver current payment capabilities and enhancements across the end-to-end payment lifecycle.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, acceptance criteria, testing, UAT, and release management, ensuring product increments meet defined objectives and quality standards.
- Apply strong domain expertise across SWIFT, ACH, RTP, SEPA, FedNow, UPI, ISO 20022, and SWIFT gpi, while monitoring evolving payment and regulatory standards such as PSD2, CBPR+, and UETR.
- Ensure product design incorporates sanctions screening, AML controls, reconciliation, intraday liquidity management,



straight-through processing (STP), and regulatory workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, analytics, and digitization, while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Drive stakeholder and client engagement through workshops, product demonstrations, readiness assessments, training, and documentation, acting as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
- Champion Agile practices, design thinking, and continuous improvement, while driving cross-functional alignment and successful delivery of payment products from concept and MVP through scaled implementation and market adoption.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in Payments Operations, Product Management, or Transformation, preferably within banks, payment hubs, or fintech organizations.
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems including SWIFT, ACH, RTP, SEPA, FedNow, ISO 20022, and related regulatory standards.
- Proven ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into product features, epics, and user stories.
- Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of payment products, from concept and MVP design through scaled delivery and market adoption.
- Hands-on experience in product backlog management, sprint delivery, JIRA, Confluence, and product prioritization frameworks such as MoSCoW and WSJF.
- Familiarity with payment platforms such as Murex Payments, Finastra Fusion, VolPay, FIS, or Temenos.
- Understanding of API-based integrations, cloud migration, and microservices architectures within modern payment hubs.
- Strong data orientation with the ability to interpret transaction metrics and operational data to drive product decisions, efficiency improvements,



and control enhancements.
- Exposure to sanctions screening, AML controls, reconciliation, Treasury, and Core Banking workflows.
- Strong experience in client workshops, product demos, readiness assessments, stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and leadership.
