We are looking for a passionate Automation Tester to join our team. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to start their career in software testing and automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing automated test scripts
- Executing automated tests and analyzing results
- Identifying and documenting defects and issues
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure quality standards
- Maintaining and updating automated test cases as necessary
- Participating in test planning and strategy discussions
- Providing feedback and suggestions for process improvement
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Basic knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
- Positive communication skills, both written and verbal
