Architect – Data Platform

Job Summary:
As an Architect in the Data Engineering organization at JioHotstar, you will define and drive the long-term technical vision for our data platform and infrastructure. You will lead the design of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data systems that power analytics, machine learning, experimentation, and business decision-making at massive scale. These are systems that have seen world record breaking traffic, on the order of 72M LIVE concurrent users while ingesting data at 400M RPM.
In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, product, marketing, and executive stakeholders to translate complex technical possibilities into measurable business outcomes. You will play a critical role in shaping architecture, improving operational excellence, and enabling teams to build resilient, future-ready systems.

- Define and evolve the long-term architecture and technical strategy for data platforms and distributed systems across teams
- Build an AI-native data platform system that is reinventing how data is ingested and analyzed at JioHotstar
- Build scalable, reliable, and cost-effective data infrastructure to support analytics, ML, and operational workloads
