Job Context

To cater to diverse requirements of business functions, we have implemented Planning & Budgeting solutions e.g. Cognos. This is the backbone and will cater to core business P&B; exercise in Business. Currently, we have footprint of 600+ Cognos users - spread across 24 manufacturing locations, sales zonal offices. And it is transparent that in future too, this user base would continue to grow as business expands and as Cognos comes out with more modules relevant for BI requirement.

The application footprint of the organization has increased and with the expansion of the business, the number of users is also continuously growing. Hence, it is imperative that there be dedicated teams for maintenance of individual applications.



As a functional team leader would be accountable for process standardization, identifying and implementing process business improvements, providing overall delivery services for the application, and guidance to team members.

Major Challenges

• Taking various stake holders along and agree on common framework of processes definitions and reports (across all plants/zones)
• Design solutions for new initiatives (incl. Change Requests) on basis of requirements which are gradually evolving/ changing and still deliver as per SLAs
• Continuous support as per SLAs to large user base spread over huge number of remote locations
