Seeking a Senior Security Engineer to provide technical expertise and collaborate with engineering teams, embedding security in cloud solutions. This role involves safeguarding enterprise applications while fostering a security-focused culture. Success requires guiding individuals, refining processes, and leveraging technical skills to ensure comprehensive protection and alignment across systems and teams.
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Governing the vulnerability management lifecycle by overseeing processes, tooling, and remediation efforts across all engineering teams.
- Automating workflows and processes to reduce developer friction, toil,
and manual overhead across daily security operations.
- Collaborating with GRC and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Partnering closely with development and infrastructure teams to identify and remediate critical security issues and vulnerabilities.
- Implementing comprehensive SSDLC practicesImplementing comprehensive Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices to strengthen security throughout the entire development process.
- Mitigating vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in code and infrastructure through partnership with operations and engineering teams.
- Serving as a lead security subject matter expert during incident response efforts and customer security escalations.
