Job Title: Solar PV Technician (Solar Power Plant)

Experience: 2+ Years
Qualification: ITI (Electrician / Wireman / Fitter / Electronics or related trade)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar PV Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in solar power plant installation, operation, and maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for installation, electrical works, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure safe and effective operation of solar PV systems.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Assembly
- Install and assemble module mounting structures and solar PV modules as per project drawings.
- Carry out module-to-module wiring and DC string connections.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure fixing of solar panels and associated components.

Electrical Works
- Perform DC and AC cable laying, routing, termination, and connection activities.
- Support inverter, transformer, SCB/JB, and other electrical equipment installation.
- Execute string combining, cable dressing,



and electrical interconnection works.

Testing & Commissioning
- Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, and voltage tests.
- Verify string open-circuit voltage (Voc) and system performance parameters.
- Assist in commissioning and synchronization activities of solar power plant equipment.

Operation & Maintenance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Clean PV modules and inspect plant equipment to ensure optimum energy generation.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults in modules, cables, inverters, and associated electrical systems.
- Monitor system performance and report abnormalities.

Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company HSE standards.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment at site.
