Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Site Technician - Commissioning to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to travel to customer sites and carry out installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities of our machines. The candidate should possess strong electrical knowledge, hands-on experience in panel wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and the use of various electrical tools and testing instruments.

The ideal candidate should be willing to travel to different project sites and ensure successful machine commissioning while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform machine commissioning and startup activities at customer sites.
- Carry out electrical panel wiring, cable termination, and interconnection activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, control, and wiring-related issues during installation and commissioning.
- Diagnose machine faults and implement corrective actions.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Conduct testing and verification of electrical panels, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems.
- Coordinate with customers and internal technical teams during site activities.
- Ensure proper functioning of machines before project handover.
- Prepare commissioning reports and service documentation.
- Follow company safety standards and site safety regulations.




- Provide technical support and basic operator training to customers when required.
- Maintain tools, instruments, and commissioning equipment in valuable condition.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of electrical panel wiring and control circuits.
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical tools and testing instruments such as:
- Multimeter
- Clamp Meter
- Insulation Tester (Megger)
- Crimping Tools
- Wire Strippers
- Measuring Instruments
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently at project sites.
- Willingness to travel and work under deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- ITI (Electrician/Electronics) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or related field.

Travel Requirements

- Travel to customer sites across different locations when needed.
- Candidate should be comfortable with outstation travel and site-based assignments.
- Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided by the company as per company policy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1-2 years of experience in machine installation, electrical maintenance, commissioning, or field service activities.
- Hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to independently handle commissioning and troubleshooting tasks at customer sites.
