We are looking for a skilled Tool Designer Horn Fixture to design and develop ultrasonic welding tooling including horns nests and fixtures to support our manufacturing operations The role involves CAD modeling material selection and ensuring tooling meets performance safety and quality standards Key Responsibilities Design and develop ultrasonic horns fixtures and tooling to meet product and process requirements Collaborate with process engineers manufacturing teams and customers to define tooling requirements Perform CAD modelling drafting and simulation using tools such as SolidWorks CATIA NX or AutoCAD Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes for horns and fixtures to ensure durability acoustic performance and reliability Conduct feasibility studies tolerance analysis and validation of tooling designs Support tool trials debugging and optimization to achieve required weld quality and cycle times Work closely with suppliers and toolmakers for fabrication inspection and acceptance of tooling Maintain and update tooling documentation drawings BOMs and revision control Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing tooling in production Qualifications Skills Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering Tool Design Manufacturing Engineering or related field 5 years of experience in tool design preferably in ultrasonic welding plastics assembly or precision tooling Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks NX CATIA AutoCAD or equivalent Knowledge of ultrasonic horn design principles frequencies acoustic tuning and fixture development Familiarity with GD T tolerance stack-up and DFM DFS practices Hands-on experience with tool validation trials and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team Job Type Full time Pay 30 000 00 - 65 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Experience total work 3 years Required Design 3 years Required Work Location In person
