Job Title Quality Control Manager Location Panoli Ankleshwar Industry Chemical API Manufacturing Experience 7 - 14 Years Qualification B Sc M Sc Chemistry or relevant discipline Job Summary - We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee and manage all Quality Control QC operations in our API manufacturing unit The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical testing SOP preparation team management and regulatory compliance They will be responsible for ensuring all products meet required quality standards and regulatory specifications before release Key Responsibilities - QC Operations Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the Quality Control department Plan schedule and distribute QC-related work in line with production requirements Ensure timely and accurate testing of raw materials packing materials in-process samples and finished products Documentation Compliance Prepare review and update QC Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and Standard Testing Procedures STPs Approve materials and products based on test results and ensure proper documentation is maintained Review out-of-specification OOS results and related documentation providing clear conclusions and corrective actions Participate in internal audits self-inspections and ensure closure of non-conformances Calibration Method Development Oversee daily and monthly calibration of laboratory instruments as per SOPs Prepare and execute the annual calibration calendar for all QC instruments Witness third-party calibrations and validate certification documents Support development and validation of new analytical methods in collaboration with the R D team Training Compliance Train QC staff and workers on routine procedures SOPs and quality standards Participate in investigations related to market complaints product recalls and sample analysis Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department and ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory guidelines Audit Coordination Coordinate with QA Production and R D teams to ensure quality standards are maintained across all stages Participate in external and internal audits ensuring documentation and lab practices meet industry and regulatory requirements Desired Skills Competencies - Strong knowledge of analytical techniques instruments and calibration processes Thorough understanding of GMP GLP and regulatory requirements in the API industry Proven ability to lead and mentor a QC team Excellent documentation communication and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with method development and validation Job Type Full time Work Location In person
