To supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of DBM Dense Bituminous Macadam and BC Bituminous Concrete laying works at site ensuring quality safety and productivity in accordance with project specifications and standards Key Responsibilities Supervise DBM and BC road laying works including paver operations roller compaction and surface finishing Ensure proper temperature of bituminous mix during transportation laying and compaction Check surface preparation before laying tack coat prime coat cleaning of surface etc Monitor paver machine settings for correct layer thickness and cross slope Ensure proper compaction as per project specifications rolling pattern number of passes and roller type Coordinate with plant and transport team for timely supply of bituminous mix Maintain records of daily work progress manpower equipment and material consumption Implement quality control checks in coordination with the laboratory team density core samples temperature etc Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for workers and equipment at site Report site issues hindrances and deviations to the Site Engineer Project Manager Supervise workforce assign tasks and maintain discipline on site Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of DBM and BC road laying techniques and standards MORTH IRC specifications Ability to read and understand drawings levels and cross-sections Practical experience in operating or supervising paver rollers and bitumen sprayers Positive leadership and team management skills Basic record-keeping and reporting skills Awareness of safety and quality requirements Qualifications Experience Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in DBM BC laying works on highways urban roads Experience in National Highway or State Highway projects will be an added advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Experience Road construction 5 years Required Work Location In person
