POST General Manager Operations No of Posts 1 Location Kolkata 1 Educational Background BE Degree Diploma in Civil Mechanical Engineer CTC 25 L - 30 L Experience Age Minimum 20 years of experience in project execution in a contracting company involved in aluminum glazing and facade works or specialized building materials engineered products Of this at least 5 years in a senior position coordinating multiple projects with independent charge Proven track record of timely execution within costs and quality parameters Capable of building and guiding office teams and site teams related to all aspects of project management Ability to monitor project costs provide Management Reports on billing collections and project progress Independent and dynamic leader with good client handling and interpersonal skills able to handle all aspects of the contract with client Capability of functioning as a branch division head as overall in charge All functions like Design marketing and business development as well as purchase admin and accounts shall report to the General Manager The suitable candidate shall have the ability to handle the division as a profit centre head and be responsible for revenue and profitability along with growth Key Roles and Responsibilities 1 Overall in charge of all functions and responsibility to ensure the efficient working of the departments as a business head 2 To handle post-order operations of multiple projects of the facade division of the company and report to management on the progress and completion of works at all stages including the design stage procurement and manufacturing stage and the installation construction stage 3 To manage the operations activities by detailed planning scheduling of projects with the designated project specific teams to ensure a Timely execution b Within cost budget execution c Quality and Safety standards as per company and client requirements d Invoicing and Collection as per terms and cash flow requirements e To provide the required MIS to management on regular basis for all above 4 To attend project review meetings with clients architects consultants as required for coordination along with project teams To set targets create a project monitoring system for progress review and ensure adherence to such targets 5 To work closely with the teams at the manufacturing facilities of the company at Kolkata and Roorkee to implement industry wide good standards and improvement of quality standards inspection methods to increase efficiency productivity and quality of the products 6 To promote a disciplined and professional work culture at sites and in offices and to mentor the site and project teams to perform their tasks efficiently and to the client s satisfaction 7 To perform all above roles as well as any other roles that management may consider fit required from time to time with full responsibility and to the best of the ability Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 2 500 000 00 - 3 000 000 00 per year Application Question s How many years of experience do you have in aluminium facade industry Where do you stay What is your current salary
