Job Title MEP Designer Overview The MEP Designer is responsible for the design drafting and coordination of electrical and plumbing systems across residential commercial and industrial projects The role involves preparing detailed drawings performing technical calculations and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards while integrating designs seamlessly with other building services Key Responsibilities Design Drafting Develop layouts and designs for electrical and plumbing systems based on project requirements Prepare detailed drawings schematics single-line diagrams and riser diagrams Size pipes cables and equipment accurately to meet design and safety standards Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable design practices Electrical Systems Perform load calculations cable sizing voltage drop analysis and short-circuit studies Design power distribution lighting earthing and lightning protection systems Select and specify electrical equipment fixtures and accessories Plumbing Systems Design water supply drainage waste venting and rainwater harvesting systems Select and specify plumbing fixtures valves and accessories Technical Documentation Costing Prepare Bills of Quantities BOQ technical specifications and cost estimates Review and approve vendor drawings and technical submittals Maintain accurate documentation and revision records Coordination Collaboration Coordinate with architectural structural and other MEP disciplines to ensure integrated designs Attend project meetings and collaborate with project managers architects and engineering teams Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Advantages Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
