Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Head Office team in a leading construction company The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the company s financial operations ensuring compliance with accounting standards preparing financial reports managing budgets and supporting project-level accounting activities This role requires strong analytical skills construction industry knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with site accountants and cross-functional teams Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements Oversee general ledger accounts payable receivable bank reconciliations and journal entries Monitor and manage cash flow project costs and working capital Prepare budgets forecasts and variance analyses for management Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations VAT and local financial laws Liaise with external auditors tax consultants and regulatory authorities Support project-level accounting cost control and profitability analysis Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed Implement and improve financial controls processes and reporting tools Coordinate with procurement operations and project managers to align financial planning with project progress Qualifications Skills B Com M Com CA Intermidiate Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience preferably in the construction or contracting industry Strong understanding of project accounting cost control and revenue recognition Proficiency in accounting software Tally Solid knowledge of IFRS GAAP and local tax laws Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills What We Offer Competitive salary and advantages package Opportunity to work with a leading company in the construction sector Professional growth and development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Application Instructions Interested candidates should submit their CV and a cover letter to smavns smaindia in with the subject line Senior Accountant Application Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
