Taking over from the previous shift sister Administration of oral drugs intravenous and intramuscular injections dressings etc to the patient Bed making and sponging of patients Checking of all inventories like medicines equipment etc Going on rounds with the doctors assisting them in various procedures and following their instructions Filling the laboratory requisition form and sending the sample to the laboratory Taking appointments from X-ray Sonography and sending the patients for tests Ensuring total pre-operative and post-operative care to the patient Preparing indents and sending to the I P store Taking care of all equipments in the ward Co-ordinate with Ward Secretary regarding admission discharge and billing activities Co-ordination with F B department regarding patient diet Continuous monitoring of critical patients and informing the doctors in case of any emergency Giving Psychological support to the patient Filling of requisite forms like birth certificate etc Maintaining nursing and medical records related to daily routine on patient and various registers for diet ECG etc Orient current comers to ward routines and systems Administration of I V therapy Setting up special procedure trays dressing trolleys and assisting doctors Getting all the instruments sterilized in the autoclave before performing any procedures Ensure that the trolleys oxygen cylinders etc are available at all times Informing the Nursing Supervisor on the patient s condition Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Leave encashment Provident Fund Education Bachelor s Required Experience Staff Nurse 2 years Preferred Location Borivali Mumbai Maharashtra Required Work Location In person
