Role Quality Manager Location Bengaluru Experience 12 - 15yrs Qualification Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Notice period Immediate or within 30days Background Aerospace Industry Responsibilities Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance Supervise inspectors technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements Approve the right products or reject defectives Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis Request feedback from customers to check out whether their requirements are met Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures Take a detailed look at the plans specifications and drawings to understand the product requirements Reject incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest Provide training to the quality assurance team Prepare documentation of the inspection process which includes detailed reports and performance records Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product Monitor customer satisfaction levels Handle customer supplier internal and AS Aerospace Standard audits independently MR activities related to quality systems and audits Skills Hands-on experience in conducting internal customer supplier and AS audits independently Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards e g AS9100 or equivalent standards in CNC machining environments Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings GD T and technical specifications Good understanding of quality documentation inspection reports and compliance procedures Robust communication skills Job Type Full-time Pay 1 300 000 00 - 1 800 000 00 per year Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
