Job Title Control Room Operator - Process Ferro Alloys Department Production Process Job Purpose To monitor control and optimize the ferro alloys production process through the control room systems to ensure smooth protected and efficient operations as per the set parameters and production targets Key Responsibilities Monitor and control all process parameters of submerged arc furnaces SAF and related auxiliaries through the control system SCADA DCS Maintain optimum furnace operation parameters such as temperature voltage current burden level and feed rates to achieve desired alloy quality and recovery Coordinate with field operators for process adjustments raw material feeding tapping and other operational activities Record and log operational data equipment readings and production parameters at regular intervals Identify and report any process abnormalities or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Shift In-charge or Maintenance team Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standardsduring operation Support start-up shutdown and emergency operations of the furnace as per SOPs Monitor raw material consumption and maintain process efficiency to reduce power and electrode consumption Coordinate with Electrical and Mechanical departments for preventive and breakdown maintenance Participate in daily production meetings and provide inputs for process improvement Maintain housekeeping and discipline in the control room area Key Skills Competencies Strong understanding of ferro alloys furnace operationand process parameters Knowledge of PLC DCS SCADA systems Analytical and troubleshooting skills Good communication and coordination abilities Awareness of safety standards and emergency procedures Qualification Diploma B Tech in Metallurgy Mechanical Electrical Chemical Engineering or equivalent Experience 2 to 6 yearsof experience in ferro alloys plant preferably in operation of Submerged Arc Furnace Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 14 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person Speak with the employer 91 (phone hidden)
