Job Summary The Veterinary Technician will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to patients ensuring smooth clinical operations and compassionate client service This role involves handling animals supporting diagnostic and treatment procedures maintaining medical records and upholding Crown Vet s standards of care Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during consultations examinations surgeries and other medical procedures Safely restrain and handle animals to ensure their comfort and the safety of staff Administer medications vaccines and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Collect and process laboratory samples blood urine feces skin scrapings etc Prepare animals and equipment for surgery including anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance Perform basic diagnostic tests X-rays ultrasounds lab work under supervision Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Educate and guide pet owners regarding treatment plans preventive care and post-operative instructions Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of clinic areas surgical suites and equipment Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care as required Support inventory management of medicines vaccines and clinical supplies Comply with all Crown Vet clinical protocols safety standards and quality guidelines Key Skills Competencies Strong animal handling and restraint techniques Knowledge of veterinary terminology medications and procedures Compassionate patient and client-focused approach Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Valuable communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 19 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Application Question s Incase Shortlisted are you ready to join immediately Experience Veterinary Technician 1 year Required Work Location In person
