Job Title Physical Education Teacher CBSE Curriculum Location Narayana Etechno school Erode Reports to Principal Head of Department Summary We are seeking a qualified and passionate Physical Education PE Teacher to join our academic team The candidate will be responsible for developing students physical fitness teamwork sportsmanship and overall well-being through structured games sports and physical activities in line with the CBSE curriculum Key Responsibilities Plan prepare and deliver PE lessons in accordance with the CBSE syllabus and school guidelines Conduct fitness assessments and maintain records of student progress and performance Organize and oversee sports activities inter-school competitions and annual sports days Promote and develop interest in team sports individual physical fitness and overall wellness Ensure safe and appropriate use of sports equipment and facilities Teach theoretical aspects of Physical Education for Classes 6 and 10 if applicable as per CBSE guidelines Maintain discipline and a safe learning environment during classes and events Work collaboratively with other staff members and support holistic student development Identify students with special physical abilities and encourage their participation in competitions Stay updated with CBSE circulars syllabus changes and examination guidelines Prepare students for CBSE Board Practical Exams in Physical Education Classes 6 10 Engage in curriculum planning parent interactions and professional development activities Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Physical Education B P Ed M P Ed from a recognized institution B Ed preferable but may not be mandatory depending on grade level and board norms Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred Thorough understanding of CBSE Physical Education syllabus and guidelines Proficiency in multiple sports and fitness activities First Aid and CPR certification preferred Skills Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for sports fitness and student engagement Excellent classroom and time management Ability to motivate and mentor students Commitment to child safety and holistic education Organizational skills for event planning and coordination Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
