Maintenance Engineer Job Title Maintenance Engineer Department Engineering Maintenance Reports to Chief Engineer Maintenance Manager Job Summary The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities equipment and systems The role requires hands-on technical skills troubleshooting ability and a proactive approach to maintain a protected comfortable and well-functioning environment for guests and staff Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems Troubleshoot and repair guestroom issues AC lighting water supply fixtures etc in a timely manner Maintain and repair kitchen laundry and other back-of-house equipment Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental standards Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks Maintain records of all maintenance activities repair works and service reports Support housekeeping and front office teams by responding promptly to maintenance requests Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives Assist in emergency situations such as power failures fire alarms or equipment breakdowns Participate in renovation upgrade and new installation projects as required Skills Qualifications Diploma Degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field Proven experience in hotel real estate building maintenance 2-5 years preferred Hands-on knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and guest-oriented approach Flexibility to work in shifts weekends and on-call duty as required Key Competencies Technical expertise Attention to detail Safety awareness Teamwork and collaboration Time management Job Type Full-time Pay 12 505 94 - 34 905 45 per month Work Location In person
