Job Specification Experience 6-8 years in equity research or sector-specific analysis preferably in the Cement sector robust buy-side and industry connections will be an added advantage Sector Focus Cement Educational Qualification MBA - Finance or CA CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification Roles Responsibilities Lead and manage research coverage exclusively in the Cement sector including large-cap and mid-cap cement manufacturers Analyze industry trends such as infrastructure demand real estate cycles pricing dynamics across regions government policies raw material sourcing limestone coal petcoke and energy cost movements Track key performance indicators including realizations per ton cost per ton capacity utilization volume growth and input cost efficiencies Build and maintain detailed financial models for cement companies - including historical and forecasted financials balance sheet P L cash flows - with robust valuation frameworks DCF EV EBITDA replacement cost etc Generate insightful and actionable investment recommendations through fundamental research and sector analysis Engage and build long-term relationships with institutional investors including mutual funds pension funds and private equity firms investing in infrastructure-linked sectors Provide mentorship to junior analysts helping them enhance their understanding of the cement industry and modeling techniques
