Independently develops and applies advanced system engineering techniques concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems May supervise design technology staff on projects of medium to high complexity or serve as a technical specialist providing expert knowledge and expertise Key Responsibilities Project Support Executes projects using commercial plant design tools or AECO Architecture Engineering Construction Operations software to deliver the engineering deliverables to include Operating Procedures and working instructions Inter discipline modelling approach and execution Engineering requirements and input for configuring the commercial plant design system for multiple related engineering disciplines and tool sets Template configuration and conformance to project requirements Provide technical support to all engineering disciplines Setup maintain and provide guidance on global work sharing with plant design software Analyze software issues suggest workarounds on changes required due to new plant design software Suggests improvements to processes standards based on use of commercial plant design software Reviews and suggests improvements to processes changes to improve functionality of plant design system Oversee basic system network improvements Performs complex analysis of systems to preemptively identify issues People Management As a manager
