Store and Purchase Executive Department Stores Procurement Reports To Store Manager Purchase Manager Plant Head Location Shakti Forge Industries Private Limited Metoda Rajkot Gujarat Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Store and Purchase Executive to support inventory management and procurement activities for our forging production line The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling store operations coordinating purchase activities maintaining material records and ensuring timely availability of raw materials tools and consumables used in forging operations Key Responsibilities Store Responsibilities 1 Receive inspect and store raw materials tooling and consumables used in forging e g die steel lubricants graphite etc 2 Maintain accurate inventory records in store management systems or ERP software 3 Conduct stock audits physical verification and regular reconciliation 4 Issue materials to production based on material requisitions MRNs 5 Ensure proper storage practices labeling FIFO and safety standards in the store area 6 Monitor minimum stock levels and raise reorder requests in advance Purchase Responsibilities 1 Assist in procurement of forging-related materials such as die blocks machine spares cutting tools safety equipment etc 2 Collect and compare quotations from vendors prepare purchase orders POs and follow up for timely delivery 3 Coordinate with the accounts department for supplier payments and invoice verification 4 Maintain vendor records and assist in vendor development for forging-specific requirements 5 Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards Qualifications u Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Materials Management Supply Chain or Commerce u 0-2 years of experience in storekeeping or purchasing in a forging or manufacturing environment u Familiarity with forging materials and consumables is an advantage u Knowledge of ERP systems SAP Tally Oracle etc and MS Office especially Excel u Basic understanding of procurement cycles inventory control and logistics Key Skills 1 Strong attention to detail and accuracy 2 Good communication and negotiation skills 3 Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks 4 Basic technical understanding of forging parts and materials 5 Familiarity with ISO documentation and store audits Salary 20000 to 40000 As per interview knowledge and last drawn salary Advantages PF Canteen Transportation Leave Benefit Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 425 03 - 38 826 54 per month Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
