Job Title QC Engineer - In-Process Inspection Location Bhiwandi Maharashtra Company Cosben Engineering Pvt Ltd Department Quality Control Shift Rotational Shift About the Company Cosben Engineering Pvt Ltd is a leading manufacturer of heavy machinery and engineering components specializing in fabrication component manufacturing and assembly With a focus on quality innovation and reliability Cosben has built a strong reputation in the industrial equipment and engineering sector Position Summary We are seeking a QC Engineer - In-Process Inspection with hands-on experience in quality control within heavy machinery manufacturing fabrication component manufacturing or assembly environments The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards at various stages of the manufacturing process Key Responsibilities Conduct in-process inspection and monitoring of fabricated and assembled components as per engineering drawings and specifications Perform dimensional checks using instruments like Vernier calipers micrometers height gauges bore gauges etc Identify non-conformities during fabrication assembly and take corrective action in coordination with production Maintain inspection reports records and documentation for traceability Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve quality-related issues Ensure adherence to ISO standards and internal quality procedures Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards on the shop floor Candidate Profile Qualification Experience BE B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3-4 years of relevant experience in QC QA in heavy machinery fabrication or component manufacturing OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-6 years of relevant experience as a QC Inspector in similar industry sectors Industry Preference Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Structural Fabrication Component Manufacturing Assembly Engineering Goods Production Technical Skills Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings GD T knowledge is a must Good knowledge of welding processes and standards Hands-on experience with inspection tools and instruments Familiarity with ISO 9001 2015 Quality Management System Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective preventive actions CAPA Soft Skills Strong attention to detail Valuable communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and in a team Willingness to work in rotational shifts Job Type Full-time Pay 11 610 94 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Commuter assistance Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
