Job Summary The Assistant Professor in General Medicine is responsible for teaching clinical service research and academic development within the department The role involves training undergraduate and postgraduate students managing patient care in clinical settings and contributing to the academic growth and research activities of the department Key Responsibilities Academic Responsibilities Teach and mentor MBBS and MD General Medicine students through lectures tutorials case presentations and practical demonstrations Supervise postgraduate thesis work research projects and clinical audits Participate in curriculum development and academic planning in coordination with the department and academic council Conduct and evaluate internal assessments and university examinations Clinical Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in OPD IPD ICU and emergency settings Supervise clinical activities of Senior Residents Junior Residents and interns Participate in clinical rounds case discussions and ensure implementation of standard treatment protocols Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold medico-legal standards Research and Publications Undertake individual and collaborative research projects Publish original research articles reviews and case reports in peer-reviewed journals Present research work at national and international conferences Apply for institutional or external research grants where applicable Administrative and Institutional Responsibilities Participate in departmental meetings quality assurance programs and institutional committees Assist in organizing CMEs workshops and outreach programs Comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements e g NMC norms NABH NAAC Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification MD or DNB in General Medicine from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission NMC or MCI Experience Minimum of 3 years of teaching research experience as Senior Resident or equivalent as per latest NMC norms Registration Must be registered with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India Desirable Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Competence in digital tools for teaching e-learning platforms simulation labs Leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams Robust academic record and inclination towards research Qualification - MBBS MS MD Eligibility - As per NMC Norms Speak with employer (phone hidden) (phone hidden) Mail Id esidiwagar gmail com elevatedsynergyindia gmail com Job Type Full-time Pay 100 000 00 - 120 000 00 per month Work Location In person
