Role Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Engineer (Kafka) to design, implement, and optimize Kafka infrastructure for real-time data streaming. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers and application teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing Kafka pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Kafka Infrastructure Management

- Design, implement, and maintain Kafka clusters for high availability and scalability.
- Monitor and manage Kafka topics, partitions, brokers, and Zookeeper.
- Perform capacity planning and scaling to support growing application needs.

Data Pipeline Development

- Develop and optimize Kafka-based data pipelines for real-time data processing.
- Integrate Kafka with various enterprise data sources.




- Implement and maintain Schema Registry and serialization/deserialization protocols.

Security & Compliance

- Implement security best practices for Kafka clusters, including encryption, access control, and authentication.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and organizational policies.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Solid expertise in Kafka cluster management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Zookeeper, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming, serialization formats (Avro, Protobuf, JSON), and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka security configurations (SSL/TLS, SASL, RBAC, ACLs).
- Familiarity with cloud-based Kafka services (AWS MSK, Confluent Kafka, etc.) is a plus.
