Role Description The MAG Welder role is a full-time, on-site position located in Jharkhand, India. The MAG Welder will perform metal active gas welding operations on components used in transmission and distribution systems, following technical drawings, welding procedures, and safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include preparing materials, setting up and maintaining welding equipment,



executing welds to specified quality standards, and inspecting completed work for defects. The role involves collaborating with production and quality teams, documenting work as required, and participating in routine equipment checks and housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment. The MAG Welder is expected to follow company safety policies, wear appropriate protective equipment, and support continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.
Qualifications

Solid experience in MAG welding or similar welding processes, including ability to read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings.
Practical skills in handling welding machines, fixtures, and related tools, with a focus on safe and productive operation.
Understanding of basic metallurgy, weld quality standards, and inspection techniques to identify and correct weld defects.
