Key Responsibilities

- Installation, commissioning and servicing of CNC machines at customer locations.
- Attend CNC machine breakdowns and identify the root cause of failures.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, CNC control and machine-related problems.
- Work on Fanuc, Siemens and Mitsubishi CNC controllers.
- Perform CNC machine reference/zero return, machine parameter checking and basic parameter troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot servo, spindle, drive, encoder, limit switch, proximity sensor and electrical control-related issues.
- Understand and troubleshoot CNC machine alarms and error messages.
- Carry out axis alignment, axis assembly/disassembly and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Handle troubleshooting related to ball screws, linear guideways, couplings, bearings, lubrication systems and axis movements.
- Assist in spindle-related troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Check machine accuracy, positioning and repeatability.
- Perform preventive maintenance and machine health checks.
- Identify abnormal vibration, noise, backlash, positioning errors and machining issues.
- Support machine leveling, geometry checks and basic machine accuracy improvement.
- Understand electrical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and CNC machine schematics.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical solutions.
- Prepare service reports, breakdown reports and preventive maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and the technical team for complex machine issues.
- Maintain professional communication with customers at the machine site.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations across Bangalore, Karnataka and other parts of India.

Candidate Profile

- Able to work independently as well as with a technical team.

Qualification

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

Preferred: Candidates with practical experience in CNC machine service, commissioning, maintenance or troubleshooting.
