Essential Qualification: Master’s in Public Health (MPH)

Desirable Qualification: Bachelors in Optometry/Ophthalmic Sciences

Experience: 1–2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct literature reviews and contextual analyses to identify priority research areas

* Design and implement mixed-methods studies (sampling, tool development, field coordination)

* Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate software

* Prepare scientific manuscripts, technical reports, and presentations

* Ensure compliance with research ethics, IRB processes, and data confidentiality

* Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and donors

* Mentor junior researchers and field teams

* Present findings at workshops, conferences, and dissemination platforms

Skills & Competencies

* Strong research design and analytical skills

* Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis





* Scientific writing and publication experience

* Sound understanding of research ethics and IRB protocols

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

* Ability to mentor and build research capacity

* Strategic thinking with an evidence-based approach
