We are looking for a Sales MIS Executive / Sales Analyst to manage sales reporting, data analysis, performance tracking, distributor inventory monitoring, and management dashboards.

The candidate will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing primary sales, secondary sales, stock, inventory, distributor, territory, and field-force performance data and providing accurate and timely MIS reports and actionable insights to the Sales and Management teams.

The ideal candidate should have robust Advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI skills, along with a good understanding of FMCG sales operations, distributor management, sales KPIs, and primary & secondary sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and circulate Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Weekly Sales Reports (WSR), and Monthly Business Reports (MBR).
- Consolidate sales data across multiple states, regions, territories, distributors, products, and sales channels.
- Prepare reports covering:
- Primary Sales
- Secondary Sales
- Stock Movement
- Product/SKU Performance
- Market Performance
- Territory Performance

- Track target vs. achievement at State, Region, Area, Territory, and Distributor levels.
- Develop and maintain management dashboards, scorecards, and performance trackers.
- Provide accurate and timely ad-hoc reports as required by management.

2. Data Management & Analysis

- Maintain and update sales databases, master data, and reporting structures.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and reconcile sales data received from regional teams and distributors.
- Analyze:
- Sales trends
- Growth patterns
- SKU/product performance
- Territory-wise productivity
- Distributor performance
- Sales achievement

- Identify data anomalies, performance gaps, business opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Support sales forecasting and demand planning using historical and current sales data.

3. Distributor & Inventory Monitoring





- Monitor distributor stock levels and secondary sales performance.
- Track stock availability, inventory aging, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Identify potential stock-out and overstock situations.
- Monitor stock transfers, inventory movement, and replenishment requirements.
- Prepare inventory liquidation and corrective-action reports.
- Highlight critical inventory issues to relevant stakeholders.

4. Sales Performance & KPI Tracking

Monitor and analyze key FMCG sales KPIs, including:

- Sales Achievement %
- Primary Sales
- Secondary Sales
- Product/SKU-wise Sales
- Territory-wise Performance
- Distributor Productivity
- Outlet Coverage
- Beat Productivity
- Growth vs. Previous Period
- Month-on-Month (MoM) Growth
- Year-on-Year (YoY) Growth
- Stock & Inventory KPIs
- Sales Value and Volume Performance
- Support sales incentive calculations, sales contests, target tracking, and field-force performance evaluation.

5. Dashboard Development & Report Automation

- Develop and maintain Excel-based MIS reports, dashboards, and management trackers.
- Automate repetitive reporting activities using:
- Advanced Excel
- Pivot Tables
- XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
- SUMIFS/COUNTIFS
- INDEX-MATCH
- Power Query
- Advanced Excel formulas

- Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Improve reporting processes by reducing manual effort and improving accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround time.
- Develop standardized reporting formats and ensure consistency across business units.

6. Business Coordination & Support

- Coordinate with State Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales teams, and distributors for timely data collection and validation.
- Follow up with stakeholders for missing, incorrect, or inconsistent data.
- Provide analytical insights to support sales decision-making.
- Support periodic sales reviews, business review meetings, and management presentations.
