Applicants with following set of essential qualification(s) and mandatory experience can apply for a vacancy of Technical Superintendent post :

B.Tech./ B.E. or an equivalent degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Ocean Engineering/ Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering with an experience of one year after the degree.

OR

3-year Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering with an experience of six years after the diploma.

Desirable skills:

Knowledge in CAD/Ocean instrumentation and measurements. Knowledge of Waves, Load Cell, DAQ, ADV, UFM and electronic motion control systems. Ability to use LABVIEW/ FLUENT and MATLAB.

Job Description / Responsibilities

To oversee the Ocean Engineering Laboratory (in the Department of Civil Engineering) and all associated equipment (including their operation, maintenance, and help in procurement). To coordinate with the Professor-in-Charge for all academic, research, and development projects, including administrative work related to the laboratory. To coordinate with the instructor for laboratory courses and research projects.

Compensation range

Pay Level 6 (35400-112400)

(Gross Pay includes Basic Pay + Dearness allowance + House Rent Allowance + Transport Allowance + Dearness allowance on Transport allowance)
