Branch Manager Typical Responsibilities

1. Business & Sales
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly premium targets.
- Drive new business and policy issuance.
- Develop business through agents, advisors, direct channels, and other distribution partners.
- Monitor branch productivity and conversion ratios.

- Team Management

- Recruit and onboard sales employees/advisors.
- Set targets and review individual performance.
- Coach the team on products, selling skills, and customer handling.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.

- Branch Operations

- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch.
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, claims, finance, and other departments.
- Track pending proposals, renewals, persistency, and customer complaints.

- Customer & Relationship Management

- Handle important/high-value customers when required.
- Ensure valuable customer experience and retention.
- Build relationships with local businesses and potential distribution partners.
