Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). The consultant will be responsible for implementation, configuration, enhancements, production support, and integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules. Current SAP FICO roles commonly include GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, and integration with MM/SD/PP.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and business stakeholders.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Taxation

- Configure and support SAP CO:

- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

- Handle end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
- Perform GAP analysis and prepare functional specifications.
- Configure SAP FICO based on business requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.




- Work on financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting processes.
- Ensure integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, PS and other systems.
- Prepare test scenarios and perform Unit Testing, SIT and UAT.
- Support data migration, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with technical teams.
- Prepare functional documentation and provide user training.

Required Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO.
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial business processes.
- Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Finance.
- Strong understanding of P2P, O2C and R2R processes.
- Knowledge of integration between FICO and MM/SD/PP.
- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with business users and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- Experience in SAP Fiori and modern S/4HANA finance processes.
- SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
