Mall Operations Manager

Job Title: Mall Operations Manager
Department: Operations / Facility Management

Reports To: General Manager / Mall Centre Head
Job Summary
The Mall Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations,
maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of the shopping mall. The role
ensures that the mall operates eiciently, tenants receive operational support, and
customers enjoy a safe, clean, and well-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management

Manage daily mall operations including housekeeping, security, maintenance,
parking, and utilities.
Ensure smooth functioning of HVAC, elevators, escalators, lighting, and
electrical systems.
Monitor mall infrastructure and ensure all facilities are operational.
2. Tenant Coordination

Act as the primary operational contact for tenants/retailers.
Ensure tenants comply with mall operational guidelines and policies.
Coordinate store openings, closures, and renovations.
3. Facility & Maintenance Management

Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Coordinate with facility management vendors and contractors.
Ensure the mall premises remain clean, protected, and well-maintained.

4. Safety & Security
Oversee security operations, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response
plans.

Ensure compliance with re safety regulations and safety audits.
Conduct regular safety drills and inspections.

5. Vendor Management
Manage third-party vendors for housekeeping, security, landscaping, and




technical services.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

6. Budget & Cost Control :
Manage operational budgets and track expenses.
Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising
quality.
Approve operational purchases and maintenance expenses.

7. Customer Experience
Ensure high standards of customer service and visitor satisfaction.
Address customer complaints and operational issues promptly.

8. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with local regulations, re safety, and municipal
guidelines.
Maintain operational records, reports, and compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Facility Management,
Engineering, or related field.
Additional certifications in facility management or operations management
are an advantage.

Experience
8 to 10 years of experience in mall management, facility management, retail
operations, or property management.
Experience managing large commercial properties or shopping malls
preferred.
